Hi, I’m Amy Brewer-Davenport, and I paint the landscape and denizens of an enchanted forest.
I’ve been working toward my dream of becoming a full time artist exploring the edges of my imagination for over a decade. Recently I have graduated from UTC with a Bachelors in Fine Arts. My concentration was in Painting and Drawing, but I also sculpt for miniature dioramas.
I studied under amazingly talented artists, with additional support and unending encouragement from friends and family.
About five years ago I left a warehouse job in the dust and took the leap (the scary, scary leap) to become a full time artist. My career began by teaching people to unleash their inner artist, whether it’s during a private painting lesson or one of the painting parties I have put together, geared to beginners.
Lately I have been delving back into the wonderful world of Sci-Fi/ Fantasy conventions, which are where I grew up. It’s wild to find myself in some of the same places I found my first inspiration as a child, but returning as a professional.
When not painting, you can find me in the woods, at antique shops, or out with my sketchbook looking for the next spark of inspiration. I’m married to my best friend who has been so patient and helpful, my rock in the storm. Find us at the next convention!
